It's also the name of the independent charity championing youth volunteering in England. v exists to inspire a new generation of young volunteers (aged 16-25) in England and enable a lasting change in the quality, quantity and diversity of youth volunteering.

Advisory Committee on Protection of the Sea 
The primary aim of ACOPS is to promote strategies for the sustainable development of the coastal and marine environment through scientific, legal and policy research, and advisory and public awareness activities. Work is carried out at the global, regional and national levels. Studying our seas and oceans both as indicators of pollution and as a threatened resource in their own right, ACOPS strives to identify cost-effective, long-term environmental solutions that can effectively be implemented across the world.

An electronic networking resource for nongovernmental organizations  
An electronic networking resource for nongovernmental organizations in Central and Eastern Europe and the former Soviet Union, NGONet.org is administered by Freedom House Budapest under the Regional Networking Project. The Regional Networking Project encourages cross-border cooperation and communication between Central and East European NGOs, particularly public policy institutes, or 'think tanks,' and civic activist organizations. Launched in 1995, the project is made possible through support provided by the U.S. Agency for International Development.

ASAH 

Le collectif ASAH fut fondé en 1996 pendant le conflit en Yougoslavie, sous l'impulsion de plusieurs associations chrétiennes du Sud de la France, pour mutualiser les action et favoriser la réflexion. Depuis 2004, l'association a développé des outils destinés à tous pour faciliter l'action humanitaire.

The Business & Human Rights Resource Centre has become the world's leading independent resource on the subject.  Our website is updated hourly with news and reports about companies' human rights impacts worldwide - positive and negative.

We seek responses from companies to allegations of misconduct: thus ensuring that our coverage is balanced and encouraging companies to address concerns raised by civil society. 

The website covers over 4000 companies, over 180 countries.  It receives over 1.5 million hits per month.  Topics include discrimination, environment, poverty & development, labour, access to medicines, health & safety, security, trade.
